I can offer solutions to address instinctive or emotional behaviors that have become a problem in your home. Often, “bad” behaviors are simply natural dog behaviors that happen to cause problems in our modern human world. Many are rooted in fear or anxiety. Actions like these require more than training. They require behavior modification and management.

Whatever your dog’s behavior problem, I will find a solution. During the free initial consultation, I will evaluate your dog. First, I will identify what is triggering your dog’s behavior, then design a specialized training program to resolve any and all behavioral issues. Where appropriate, I will make a referral to a licensed veterinary behaviorist for further evaluation and treatment.

As the owner, you will need to be patient, committed, consistent and persistent. You are the central ingredient to your dog’s success! As such, you will need to be committed to spending quality time training your dog every day.

Such behavioral problems may include:

  • Chewing
  • Digging
  • Non-Polite Greeting
  • Not Staying in Place when Command Given
  • Socialization Problems with Other Dogs
  • Separation Anxiety
  • Fear/Phobias
  • Not Coming When Called
  • Jumping on Visitors
  • House Training Problems
  • Heal/Leash Walking Issues
  • Counter Surfing
  • Door Dashing
  • Taking/Destroying Personal Items
  • Not Using the Crate
  • Relationship Building
